Figure 14-3 illustrates the difference between adding Repligard to an existing Midgard database, or getting it already built in. The -m option is used once only in the former case. (see the README file).
Repligard has to be handled with care, by one who knows what one is doing. The following checklist should keep you out of trouble:
Make sure repligard.xml is appropriate to your database structure
Don't use the -r option unless you don't need to update any previously "synchronised" database
